<p>6.15pm:           HunterZ</p>
<p>We welcome our headline act, HunterZ, one of the most accomplished Asian<br />
artistes in the UK. Indian classically music trained, HunterZ has proved<br />
worthy of his excellent family pedigree, whilst forming his own sound<br />
heavily influenced by his love of western Funk, Soul, Rock, Hip-Hop and R&amp;B.<br />
The &#8216;Most Wanted&#8217; album released in 2003 propelled him on to the<br />
international stage, his reputation strengthened through the 2008 release of<br />
his much-awaited album &#8221; The Masterpiece&#8221; and spawning the massive hit<br />
single &#8221; Tere Bin Dil Mera Lagda Na&#8221;.</p>
<p>6.00pm            Signature</p>
<p>Signature need no introduction following their much celebrated appearance on<br />
Britain&#8217;s Got Talent in 2008. In homage to Michael Jackson, Signature<br />
combine Jackson&#8217;s lyrics &amp; dance style with traditional Bhangra beats &amp;<br />
Punjabi folk dance to create their own stylish act. Having missed them last<br />
year, we&#8217;re thrilled to welcome them this year to the 2010 Middlesbrough<br />
Mela!</p>
<p>5.30pm            AG Dolla plus special guest</p>
<p>An East African Asian bi-lingual rapper, AG Dolla&#8217;s street-wise mentality &amp;<br />
confidence, give him a unique, cutting edge sound. Much respected, he&#8217;s<br />
become a revered role model to his vast following of fans.  He perform in<br />
Middlesbrough with a special guest artist.</p>
<p>5.00pm            Rana Sahota</p>
<p>Hot, fresh Bhangra artist Rana Sahota presents tracks from his much<br />
anticipated debut album Khadke Glassy. Nephew of Palvinder Dhami (Heera),<br />
this teen sensation is influenced by his world-famous uncle also bringing<br />
his own passion, thoughtful lyrics and dance floor grooves to the party!</p>
<p>4.30pm                        Aron B</p>
<p>In 2009 Aron B&#8217;s vocals featured on the track &#8216;I Just Wanna&#8217; which gathered<br />
a huge fan base, leading to performances to crowds around the United Kingdom<br />
and a nomination for Best Newcomer at the UK Asian Music Awards, 2010. Watch<br />
out for his brand new single, &#8216; Be My Baby &#8216;.</p>
<p>4.15pm                        UK Shox</p>
<p>UK Shox first hit the scene 2 years ago &amp; are already set to take over the<br />
music scene pushing boundaries with their exclusive style of music, a potent<br />
mix of Punjabi, Hip Hop, Urdu &amp; Hindi.  A phenomenal talent!</p>
<p>4.00pm            Punjabi No 1</p>
<p>Return to thrill you. Dance!  Dance!  Dance!</p>
<p>3.30pm            ShantiTown</p>
<p>Transcending stereotypes, ShantiTown is about fusion and experimentation,<br />
combining the musical drive and energy of western rock with the lyrical<br />
poignancy of Indian and world music genres. ShantiTown believes that music<br />
is about real musicians playing live instruments responding to that electric<br />
atmosphere of their live audience.</p>
<p>3.00pm            Nasir Khan</p>
<p>Nasir Khan has made his mark on the British Asian music scene in a very<br />
short time. His album &#8220;Yakeen&#8221; has received global acclaim with the title<br />
track being the hit of 2009. Qawwali, Ghazal, Pop, Bhangra or film, Nasir is<br />
comfortable with them all!</p>
<p>2.15pm                        Nazmoon Nahar Tanni</p>
<p>Known as Tanni &amp; born in Bangladesh, Tanni sings all forms of songs<br />
including modern Bengali, Hindi &amp; Urdu, her own favourite being Nazrul Geeti<br />
&amp; Bengali Classical songs.</p>
<p>2.00pm            Official Welcome to Middlesbrough Mela 2010</p>
<p>1.45pm                        Punjabi No 1</p>
<p>Sensational! Powerful! Dynamic!  This diverse dance group of explosive<br />
performers are all professionals aged between 17and 22. The group was<br />
originally created to promote Punjabi culture and now bring vibrant skills<br />
from a variety of performing arts backgrounds, fusing techniques from South<br />
Indian, Rajasthani, Bollywood and Bhangra performance with Hip-Hop forms.</p>
<p>1.30pm                        Lilas La Fleur</p>
<p>Born and raised in Paris (France) of Congolese parentage, Lilas is a gifted<br />
local musician with exceptional talent. Her music, influnced by Beyonce<br />
Knowles, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey is positive, her songs inspired<br />
from her own personal experiences.</p>
<p>1.00pm                        Dance Factory North East</p>
<p>This new and innovative dance company, Dance Factory North East, is based in<br />
Teesside. It gives training and workshops in Street and Contemporary Dance<br />
to any young people with the enthusiasm to dance!  So join in and join up!</p>
<p>12.30pm          Robson Irish Dance Group</p>
<p>12.15pm          DJ Bilks</p>
<p>Playing us through the day is the fantastic DJ Bilks, part of the Prestige<br />
DJs who prides himself on delivering original music using diverse influences<br />
in his big Bhangra beats. He&#8217;s presented on Panjab and Desi Radio and<br />
released the albums The Prestigious Touch and The Sweet &amp; Sexy Album<br />
featuring Punjabi Hit Squad and RDB.</p>
