Punjabi No.1 was established 12 years ago to promote Punjabi Culture amongst Scottish born Punjabi’s. The group mainly performed Bhangra, Giddha and Dhol playing, however, the demand over the years has varied, so now the group incorporates Bollywood and Hip-Hop dancing.

Punjabi No.1 has had the opportunity to perform at major venues with many famous artists. Their most recent events include the MOBO awards, the handover of the Commonwealth Games and most recently Children in Need. Punjabi No.1 have travelled all over the world with thier fantastic Bhangra, Bollywood, Hip Hop, Singing and dhol playing performances. The group has even received an award from First Minister Alex Salmond for Recognition for Asian Arts and music
