12.00pm                    Carnival Crew Tees Valley

CCTC brings together young dancers and musicians from across the Tees Valley to create a spectacularly colourful touring carnival group of energetic dancing and live drumming.

12.45pm                    Rhythm Train

A local community group for all ages who love to play and perform, Rhythm Train’s sunny samba sounds create an upbeat feel at any event with their sizzling foot tapping rhythms and carnival atmosphere.

1.30pm                      Steelworks Steel Band

Middlesbrough’s first Community Steel Band is a premier music group in the North East.  Interested in learning to play a Steel Pan?  Steelworks is based in Acklam! Take a look at www.steelworksband.org and get in touch.

2.15pm                      Frank and Rajdeep

Both with an impressive training, Rajdeep Das (Tabla) and Francis Conway (Sitar) have combined their musical prowess to create this new duo. They’ve provided Hindustani classical music recitals throughout the North of England, exciting audiences with their mutually complementing blend of melodic and rhythmic improvisation.
