Again we’ve been listening to you!  At your suggestion, we’re providing a covered eating area to eat your tasty purchases from any of our excellent food stalls on site or even bring your own!

The Marquee is open throughout the weekend but Sunday 19^th July is also The Big Lunch, a national initiative to encourage people to eat with neighbours, friends and even complete strangers!  Just imagine a day on which millions of us, throughout the UK, sit down to have lunch together, in the middle of our streets, around our tower blocks and on every patch of common ground. This will be a day to break bread with others and to put a smile on Britain’s face!  And, with the Mela being a Big Lunch venue, it is likely the The Mela Big Lunch will be the biggest Big Lunch in the UK!
